An original native to the home decor industry with over 15 years’ worth of experience in product design for national big box retailers. I wanted to bring more into the world with a larger purpose and I’m here wholeheartedly to fulfill it. Designing has and always will remain a passion of mine, but I wanted to design without being confined to decor by offering tangible products in my own style.

I am armed with my heavily trusted HP Envy x360, a variety of pencils and paintbrushes, sketchbooks, acrylic and watercolor paints, and daily dropped puns from my fun sense of humor. I have earned a place as a respected designer professionally in this vast place we call the art world.

I owe everything to my high school art teacher and mentor through life who pushed me to be my artistic best. The last knowledge I’ll take with me going forward in life is when she said,
“Never plan life, just dream. Because as you know plans don’t always follow through, but dreams can come true. You will figure it out. You always have and you always will.” I think she saw a power much larger in me than I did myself during that brief moment a few years ago.

With my doubts set aside I first began creating digital prints, hand illustrated and hand-painted works, dabbled into self-taught photography, and have now expanded by sharing my brand through social media. Only through trial and error will we find our way to meet our ultimate goals in life which is exactly what happened. My constant creativity drives me to ease my busy mind.

Ivory + Cane is a combination in which most significantly portrays and is molded from my personal experiences. Ivory comes from the word meaning "pure" and Cane meaning "warrior." The combination of those two words put together expresses who I am as a person while conquering life's experiences in various stages of my life.

I'll spare you all from reading a book any further so at last Ivory + Cane was born.
